Handmade SweatersLIMA, PERU -
Worldwide agreed to provide some resources to help the eldest daughter in a poor
family attend college if the family could find a means of making money
that would meet the daughter's need and help other children in the family
attend college. The family decided to sell and produce handmade sweaters
from alpaca wool. Production has moved smoothly, but we have encountered
some difficulty in marketing the sweaters. Worldwide has provided more
than the initial resources and is trying to gain some expertise to focus
on the difficulties and assure success.
